As a Coach for Teaching Excellence, you play a vital role in enhancing the delivery of Early Childhood Education and Care nationwide. Your expert advice and coaching will ensure centres consistently meet national standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Provide on-demand support to centre teams to improve teaching quality and learning outcomes.
* Work closely with selected centres to implement Quality Improvement Plans, focusing on sustainable teaching and learning capability.
* Collaborate with state managers to identify and develop initiatives promoting best practices in early childhood education.
* Maintain expertise in national frameworks, including QRS, NQS, EYLF, and other relevant guidelines.
* Contribute to the development of key practice uplift strategies within the Teaching and Learning team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* You hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution.
* Extensive experience in early childhood teacher education, aged birth to 8 years.
* Familiarity with Assessment and Rating processes, as well as Exceeding Themes.
* Proven ability to deliver high-quality training to centre-based teams.
* Experience in supporting practice uplift with centre-based teams.
* Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, State-based approved learning guidelines, and National Quality Standard.
* Excellent communication, organizational, evaluation, and leadership skills.
