Administration Officer (Reception) – St Mary's College, Ipswich

Summary
Play a vital role in delivering efficient and impactful administrative support, handling a diverse range of tasks to ensure the smooth and dynamic operation of the school.

Salary: $*******/hr + super (School Salary Scale)

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
Providing a wide range of administrative support to the school leadership team to effectively manage their availability, schedules and appointments
Responding to enquiries and ensuring accurate and relevant information is provided in a timely manner
Assisting in the development, maintenance and operation of administrative systems and databases, recommending improvements as necessary
Maintaining stock and issuing expendable stores, recording stock levels and the distribution of equipment, delivery dockets, invoices and payment vouchers
Establishing and maintaining filing and records-management systems, including registers and databases, ensuring easy and on-time retrieval of information
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
Proficiency in Excel and an understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Suite
Providing general administrative support
Diary management and the scheduling of activities and appointments at a senior level
Maintaining a variety of administrative systems
Managing enquiries from a variety of stakeholders and supplying timely information in an engaging way
This position does not require you to be Catholic
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement
