Software Engineer Position
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with experience in building and maintaining scalable cloud services.
As a Software Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to determine user requirements, driving the identification of dependencies, and developing design documents.
You will also create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to establish and improve performance and maintainability.
In addition, you will create testable code, push for quality investments, and leverage subject-matter expertise to drive project plans and work items.
You will act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers by developing and following playbooks, working on call to monitor service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiating actions to restore service.
Proactively seeking new knowledge and adapting to new trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
OR equivalent experience.
A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a passion for innovation and problem-solving.
Additionally, you should have a solid understanding of software development methodologies, including agile development and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Experience with Azure technologies is highly desirable, but not required.
