Warehouse All Rounder
This role requires a strong understanding of customer service and warehouse/logistics management principles. Key responsibilities include managing timelines, rates, inventory availability, and working with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery. As the primary point of contact during the sales order and delivery process, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide regular updates regarding fulfillment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Logistics / Warehouse: Assist with the execution of delivery and local supply plans – DIFOT and SIFOT; manage timelines, rates, inventory availability, and work with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
* Client Relationships: Serve as primary point of contact during Sales Order and delivery process; build and maintain strong relationships; provide regular updates and communication regarding fulfilment, understanding expectations; manage client escalations and resolve issues.
* Delivery Planning and Execution: Ensure delivery schedules align with customers and branch; ensure deliverables meet client requirements and quality standards; monitor delivery progress and performance; conduct post-delivery reviews and gather feedback.
Requirements:
* Logistics and warehousing knowledge
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Experience in a similar role ideal
* Great communication and customer service skills
* Ability to utilise systems/databases (e.g. MRP systems)
* Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
* Medium Rigid Truck & Forklift licence
* Capable of handling manual labour
