Hitachi Rail is looking for a curious, motivated
Graduate Software Engineer
who is ready to start their careers in a supportive, purpose-driven environment. The position is based in
Brisbane, Australia
as part of the Sequence Alliance.
The Sequence Alliance brings together four organisations — Hitachi Rail, the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Queensland Rail, and the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority — as One Team with One Goal: to digitally transform South East Queensland's (SEQ) rail network. This collaboration unites Queensland Rail's 160 years of local experience and operational excellence with Hitachi Rail's global expertise in rail and digital signaling solutions.
As a Graduate, you will rotate through key areas of the Program, gain hands-on experience, and build strong foundations through structured learning, mentoring and real project work. You will be trusted with meaningful responsibilities from day one, while being supported by experienced leaders who are invested in your development.
During your program, you will work on real projects that make a tangible impact, collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, learn industry best practices through on the job learning and build technical, professional and leadership capabilities.
