Overview
We are currently partnering with a well-established Tier 2 civil contractor to recruit Site Engineers, Project Engineers, and Senior Project Engineers for major water infrastructure projects across Brisbane and SEQ.
With a strong footprint in the utilities and water sector, this contractor delivers complex packages including bulk earthworks, pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, treatment plant upgrades, and associated civil structures. Due to continued project wins and a secure forward pipeline, they are expanding their engineering team.

Salary & Benefits
* $120,000 – $180,000 + Super + Company Vehicle (based on experience and level)

Key Responsibilities (depending on your level)
* Coordinating daily site engineering activities across water and utilities packages
* Managing subcontractors delivering pipelines, pump stations, structures, and associated civil works
* Driving program milestones to ensure timely delivery of critical infrastructure
* Monitoring labour, plant, and materials to maintain cost control and productivity
* Managing quality assurance, ITPs, inspections, and compliance requirements
* Preparing and reviewing project reporting, forecasts, and financial documentation
* Building strong relationships with water authorities, clients, and stakeholders
* Promoting and maintaining a strong safety-first culture onsite
Senior-level candidates will take ownership of commercial performance, program control, risk management, and mentoring junior engineers.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
* Proven experience delivering civil or water infrastructure projects in Australia
* Experience on pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, or utilities projects highly regarded
* Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies and site delivery
* Commercial awareness and cost control capability (PE/SPE level)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
