Your Role at a Glance
This role is ideal for a Graduate or Junior Accountant looking to start or continue their career in public practice.
You'll work closely with a supportive team, gaining practical experience while developing your technical skills in a structured and encouraging environment.
Your Day-to-Day
With guidance from senior team members, your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns
* Supporting BAS, IAS, PAYG, and other compliance work
* Working across a variety of clients and industries
* Liaising with the ATO and other statutory bodies as required
* Learning and using accounting and practice management systems
* Participating in internal training, monthly tax updates, and team activities
* Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture
What You Bring
You're an early‐career accounting professional who is motivated, reliable, and keen to learn. You bring:
* A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
* 0–2 years' experience in accounting or professional services
* An interest in commencing or continuing CA studies
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Clear communication skills and a team-focused mindset
* A genuine interest in building a long-term career in accounting
Experience with MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems is beneficial but not essential - training will be provided.
