Due to ongoing demand and major matters across Queensland and Australia, the firm is now seeking both an Associate and Senior Associate with strong back‑end construction litigation experience.

The Work + The Team
You'll join a well-established Construction, Projects & Infrastructure team made up of highly regarded partners and senior practitioners recognised for their technical excellence and collaborative leadership style.
The team advises builders, principals, contractors, developers, suppliers, and insurers on some of the most significant construction and engineering matters in the region. Expect exposure to major disputes, sophisticated legal issues, and high-profile national work.
Current Opportunities
Associate – 2+ PAE
Ideal if you're ready to deepen your expertise and work closely with leaders in the field. You will:
Assist on significant construction disputes
Draft high‑quality advice and manage complex legal issues
Build strong client relationships
Develop under experienced partners with structured mentoring
You'll need 2+ years PAE in back‑end construction or commercial litigation with a construction focus, plus strong analytical and communication skills.
Senior Associate – 5+ PAE
Perfect for a driven construction litigator ready to step into a senior role. You will:
Run substantial matters and manage complex, large‑scale disputes
Work closely with key clients and contribute to business development
Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to team leadership
Operate with autonomy while being supported by highly experienced partners
You'll need 5+ years PAE in major construction disputes and a strong grasp of the legislative and contractual framework underpinning the practice.
