This position involves supporting legal professionals in a dynamic environment, offering variety and opportunities to showcase organizational and administrative skills. The team is hardworking, high-performing, yet collegial and social, providing a balanced work atmosphere.
The responsibilities include:
1. Opening and closing matters, conflict searches
2. Assisting with court document preparation, online filing, and drafting
3. Managing time entries, processing invoices, billing, and reporting
4. Preparing documents such as letters, contracts, and correspondence
5. Performing general administrative duties like document management
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Experience in a law firm, preferably supporting litigation, with class actions experience
* Excellent time management and prioritization skills
* Familiarity with systems like FileSite and Expert; quick learner of new systems
* High attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently
* Engaging personality with a strong work ethic
