Our Day Oncology Unit offers a range of treatments, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and palliative care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and support.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a registered nurse with current registration and a minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably in oncology. You must also possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, as well as a commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction.
* Assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet these needs.
* Deliver high-quality nursing care, using evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines to inform your decisions.
* Evaluate patient outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as needed.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.

You will hold current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in oncology.
