The Procurement Operations Supervisor will lead the team to achieve best practice procurement procedures and strategies. The role requires strong experience in purchasing goods and services, ability to lead a team, and extensive use of Corporate Purchasing Software.
* This role is responsible for reviewing and developing procurement procedures and strategies.
* You will identify cost saving opportunities and drive their implementation.
* Evaluate purchase requisitions and delivery of goods received according to purchasing procedures and Councils Procurement Policy.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong experience in purchasing goods and services.
* Ability to lead and supervise a team.
* Extensive previous use of Corporate Purchasing Software.
* Strong interpersonal skills including building rapport and effective working relationships.
