Your Role
Here's what you will be doing:
* Work alongside an experienced team delivering innovative engineering solutions.
* Gain hands‑on experience in PLC programming, network switch configuration, SCADA system setup, electrical and control system testing, and on‑site commissioning activities under senior mentorship.
* Rotate across various business units to gain exposure to business systems improvement, operational support, and project management.
* Provide technical support to site teams through site visits and relief work.
* Inspect and optimise plant operations to improve performance and efficiency.
* Assist in implementation, commissioning, and system upgrades of control systems.
* Identify innovative solutions for operational improvements and maintenance strategies.
* Engage with a large CIMIC Group graduate cohort for networking, professional development, and social events.
About You
What you'll need:
* Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering is desirable.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as C, VB Scripting, and Python, with willingness to learn others.
* Ability to interpret electrical schematic drawings and P&ID diagrams is desirable but not essential.
* Experience with industrial control systems programming and configuration is desirable.
* Strong troubleshooting skills with a logical and structured approach to fault‑finding in complex systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management, self‑organisation, and ability to work safely and independently.
