Job Title
Role involves managing environment and application support for Asia & Australia Wealth Management platform.
Includes incident, problem, event, and environment/monitoring management.
Team interacts with developers, data operations, and business users directly within business units.
Candidate must have previous production or environment management experience.
Must understand overall business flow, supported application systems, and its interface with clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of managing production requests/questions/issues
* Identify gaps in production environment support
* Manage production problem-related incidents
* Perform post-incident analysis/documentation and follow-ups
* Plan for IT/business/market change events
* Internal/external communication with downstream consumers, development teams, and external vendors
* Proactive initiatives to stabilize/enhance current process
* Escalate problems to level 3 (core development and engineering) groups
* Document knowledge articles and related support pages
Requirements
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to automate regular environment tasks using Python
* Proficiency in scripting languages
* Professional ownership of incidents
* Can-do attitude
* Experience in fast-paced, dynamic enterprise infrastructure
* Production management experience/ITIL training
* Strong analytical and debugging skills
* Team player in global and diverse setting
* Willingness to learn and take initiative
Nice to Have
* Experience or exposure to System Reliability Engineering practices like observability
* Knowledge of financial industry
* Development experience in Java
* Previous experience supporting reference data or middle-ware architectures
