Job Description
We require up to 50 hardworking, nimble-fingered, physically abled workers to work in Bacchus Marsh Vic MUST be available to start work from Sep 2026 and be committed to a minimum of 5 days per week, 8-10 hours per day for duration of the season (approx. 6-9 months). Early starts may apply (between 05:00-07:00) depending on management requirements. You will need to be available for possible extra hours of work to ensure all work is completed as required by management.
You must be willing to undertake all jobs listed below. Manual bending and crouching to pick/pack crops or plants are required. Manual picking of small seedlings according to size and other specifications are also required.
We are looking for nimble fingers, sharp sighted (no colour-blindness) and physically able applicants who can produce the quality & quantity needed. You must be able to work in a very fast paced environment with speed and accuracy. Indoor work and outdoor work which can be cold and wet OR very hot and dry.
We need reliable, flexible workers. Regular lifting and bending. Gentle but fast hands needed.
Ability to follow instructions a must. Wages are paid as per the Horticulture Award 2020 hourly rate. Work is offered through a labour hire agency on a casual basis.
