What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit have a full-time permanent opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in East Arm NT. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and leading critical aspects of our road/rail operations, including safety, compliance, financial performance and fleet utilisation. Key areas:
* Champion a safety‐first culture by ensuring safety, chain of responsibility, and quality requirements are always met, with a strong focus on Linfox's Vision Zero
* Oversee service delivery to meet contractual requirements and drive continuous improvement across the network
* Lead, develop, and support direct reports, operational teams, and subcontractor partners to achieve efficiency and operational excellence
* Promote continuous improvement and adherence to compliance with all organisational and legislative requirements including WH&S, COR, Mass Management, Fatigue Management
Are you the one?
* 4+ years of experience in an operational leadership role within the transport/logistics industry
* Prior experience with road operations and a strong understanding of road regulations
* Excellent stakeholder engagement with an ability to build strong relationships across all levels and effectively implement and manage supply contracts
* Confidence in leading, driving outcomes, and developing diverse, high‐performance teams
* Strong understanding of commercial outcomes including operational drivers, cost control and budgeting
* Process driven, analytical and methodical with a passion to drive continuous improvement
