We are currently looking for support workers around Falcon having high care skills and ample experience in this industry for a client with the following needs:
Client needs
* Client has spinal cord injury and acquired brain injury
* Has a super pubic catheter
* Needs bowel care (suppository and stimulation)
* Hoist transfers and full personal care required
* Client needs 24/7 supports

Duties and responsibilities include
* Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
* Social support/transportation for social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
* Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
* Supporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment
* Supporting customers with complex and/or challenging needs
* Monitoring the well‐being of customers and reporting on their progress
* Provide updates on customer progress following each service
About you
* Good interpersonal skills & written/verbal communication skills
* Ability to build rapport & good working relationships
* Comfortable using technology (i.e. mobile app) for accessing rosters & recording customer notes/feedback
What you will need
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance / Criminal Record Check
* Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) e.g. COVID‐19 vaccination certificate
* Current First Aid certificate/CPR
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
* Smart phone with internet access
* Current Working with Children Check (preferred)
* Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)
