Achievement Support Services is expanding across the Launceston region and looking for reliable, grounded Support Workers to join our growing team.
We provide in-home and community-based support to people with disability — helping them build confidence, independence, and meaningful connection in their everyday lives.
About the Role
You'll provide one-on-one support in clients' homes and in the community, assisting with daily routines, personal care, mentoring, and social engagement.
This role suits someone who is calm, professional, and confident supporting people with diverse and sometimes complex needs.
Shifts are flexible and varied, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends — ideal for those seeking casual work that fits around family, study, or other commitments.

You'll thrive with us if you:
* Have strong communication and emotional intelligence
* Are confident working independently in a home environment
* Maintain professionalism, empathy, and clear boundaries
* Are dependable, organised, and experienced in supporting people with complex needs
Requirements
* Minimum 6–12 months experience in disability, community, aged care, or home care
* Certificate II or III in Individual Support, Community Services, Aged Care, or Disability (highly desired)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check / NDIS Worker Number
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module ("Quality, Safety and You")
* Working with Vulnerable People Registration (TAS)
* National Police Check (within 12 months)
* Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
* First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to update)
* Medical clearance / fitness to work (or willingness to obtain)
* Medication Administration / Medication Authority qualification (highly regarded)
* Right to work in Australia
Pay and Benefits
* From $34.44/hr (SCHADS Level 2) plus casual loading and penalty rates
(Evening, weekend, and public holiday rates can reach up to $83/hr)
