* Mentor and guide customers to explore their personal interests and hobbies, promoting independence and self-awareness.
* Coach essential life skills, such as cooking, social interactions, and medication management, empowering customers to thrive in their daily lives.
* Provide personalized care, including toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing, when required, ensuring customers' physical and emotional well-being.
* Help customers engage with local communities through Community Participation Programs, fostering connections and a sense of belonging.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A willingness to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, awake shifts, sleepovers, and weekends, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
* Effective communication skills to interact with customers who may have varying abilities, showcasing empathy and understanding.
* A current driver's license and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Formal qualifications in Disability or related fields, although not mandatory, are considered advantageous for career growth.
