**About the Opportunity**
The Communications and Engagement Manager is responsible for managing the Community and Stakeholder Communications and Engagement activities of the region the position is based.
This role is the main conduit from the regions Directors and projects teams to obtain the program, identify risks and opportunities and lead teams to develop plans that will enhance the reputation of DoT.
**About You**
- Expert skills in developing and implementing significant community consultation and stakeholder engagement programs across a diverse portfolio.
- Negotiation and influencing skills to develop and maintain partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to coach other and write clearly and simply for a wide range of audiences in a variety of styles.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manage issues that could impact on organisational reputation or achievement of strategic objectives.
- Ability to oversee programs of work with excellent project management skills and experience working on complex communication and engagement projects.
