Join our team as a Clinical Facilitator and be part of an exceptional educational experience. As a key member of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, you will support the clinical education of undergraduate student nurses on professional practice placement within the Bachelor of Nursing program.
About the Role
The Clinical Facilitator will be responsible for guiding 1st, 2nd and 3rd year nursing students in various healthcare settings, including wards and specialties. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the next generation of nurses.
* Welcoming and orientating students to the specified facility.
* Acting as a professional role model and mentor.
* Opportunistic student learning and clinical teaching, linking theory to practice whilst in the clinical setting.
* Identifying learning needs and promoting skill development.
Key Qualifications and Skills
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA with no notations and/or restrictions.
* Minimum of five (5) years post-registration experience in a clinical setting.
* Post graduate qualifications in an area of specialty.
