Role Description
This is a full-time permanent role for a Senior Consultant - Strategy, Business Analysis and AI, based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility to work from home when appropriate.
You will work closely with senior leaders and clients on complex government and infrastructure projects. The role combines business analysis, process improvement, structured problem solving and data-driven insights, often in environments undergoing digital or AI-enabled change.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Conducting business analysis and process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement
* Providing hands‐on support in the delivery of innovative AI tools and analytical capabilities for clients
* Analysing data and developing insights to support investment, policy and operational decisions
* Preparing clear, high-quality written deliverables, including reports, briefing papers and presentations
* Supporting the development of business cases, operating models and transformation programs
* Working with AI-enabled tools and data analysis methods to improve decision making
* Translating insights into clear and accessible outputs using visualisation and structured communication
* Facilitating workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders across government and industry
* Ensuring projects are delivered to a very high standard of quality and integrity
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone with strong consulting foundations who enjoys working in collaborative, integrated client-consultant teams, combining analytical rigour with strong interpersonal skills.
Essential experience and qualities include:
* 3+ years consulting experience at a major firm (EY, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG, BCG, McKinsey, Bain or similar)
* Strongbusiness analysis and process analysis capability
* Experience in data analysis and structured problem solving
* Familiarity with AI tools and modern analytical approaches
* Experience working with government or the public sector
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to produce clear, structured and high-quality deliverables
* Highintegrity, honesty and professionalism

* Easy to work with and collaborative
* Asense of humour and good judgement
* Curious, thoughtful and motivated by solving real problems
* Comfortable working independently, and with senior clients and taking responsibility
