Trivantage Manufacturing is a National leading manufacturer of packaged electrical solutions including premium quality switchboards, kiosk substations and switchrooms, covering low to high-voltage capabilities across the infrastructure, resource, and commercial sectors.
Due to organic growth, we are looking to employ experienced Electrical Fitters across our 3 workshops in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. The work tasks will cover all facets of switchboard manufacturing from assembly and fitting of electrical components to gear panels and switchboards, manufacture and installation of copper bus bars through to wiring components and termination.
**The role will include**:
- Assembly of components into switchboards and cabinets
- Power cabling and control wiring
- Copper bus bar manufacture and installation
- Interpreting switchboard general arrangement drawings
- Interpreting switchboard single-line diagrams and schematic drawings
- Installing electrical switchgear and control assemblies
- Electrical testing and commissioning of MV & LV equipment
**Ideally, you will have the following**:
- Certificate III in Switchgear and Control gear or Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
- Or at least 5 years of experience as an electrical fitter
- Knowledge of electrical switchboards, control systems, wiring and copper bus bar work, motor control, power distribution, electrical installations, and manufacturing practices.
- A team player with good communication skills.
**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Thomastown, Vic 3074: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Fitter: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Certificate III in Switchgear and Control gear (preferred)
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
