Overview
We are seeking a proactive Junior Project Engineer to join a well-established business that is the country's largest end-to-end provider of heavy vehicle workshop equipment, including design, procurement, installation, and aftersales service. This entry-level role supports the delivery of key projects across the mining, defence, agriculture, and transport industries. This permanent full-time role involves coordinating with Project Managers, Sales, Drafting, and Fabrication teams to ensure HSEQ and quality standards are met while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
Base pay range
A$70,000.00/yr - A$90,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate project activities and assist Project Managers in planning and delivery.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, job packs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
* Assist with tenders, compliance requirements, and minor drafting edits on project plans.
* Liaise with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and adherence to HSEQ and quality standards.
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in project processes and systems.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally Mechanical (or currently studying).
* Experience with drafting software is highly advantageous.
* Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
* A proactive, safety-focused approach with a high level of attention to detail.
* Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.

Location: Hemmant, Brisbane, Queensland (company move to Heathwood in January 2026). Employment type: Full-time. Seniority level: Entry level.
