About you :
Cert III or higher qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic + Experience as a Qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic in a workshop environment. Minimum 2 YEARS plus experience.
Ability to remain calm and focussed while producing a high standard of work in a fast-paced environment.
Results driven with a strong eye for detail and technical ability.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Reliable, conscientious, adaptable and customer focused.
Solid knowledge of all relevant Health and Safety regulations.
The Position :
Providing expert advice in relation to mechanical condition of vehicles.
Mechanical vehicle repair and servicing including engine, transmission, body, and suspension components.
Reporting all necessary work, service or repairs to the Advisors and recording information using service reporting systems.
Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to return of vehicles to the customer.
Maintaining a safe working environment.
Other general workshop duties where required.
Preferred qualifications and skills include :
License :
Possession of a mechanical trade qualification and relevant Cert III Minimum license.
Minimum 2 Years of Relevant Qualified Experience – Prior experience in a similar role within the automotive industry as a qualified Cert III trade holder.
Valid Australian Working Rights – Legal authorization to work in Australia.
Strong Leadership and Communication Skills – The ability to lead and communicate effectively.
Current Australian Full Driver's License – Possession of a valid driver's license.
Ability to Work Unsupervised – Self-motivation and the capability to work independently.
