We are seeking a skilled Small Motor Mechanic for a full-time, on-site position located in Cairns, QLD. The role involves performing routine maintenance and repair of small motors, outdoor power equipment, and ATVs. Key tasks also include diagnosing mechanical issues, servicing steering and motor vehicle components, and ensuring all equipment runs safely and efficiently. Interacting with customers to provide recommendations and maintaining service records are integral parts of the role.
Qualifications
Proficient in Vehicle Maintenance and general Maintenance & Repair tasks
Experience working with small motors, motor vehicles, and steering systems
Strong Customer Service skills to provide effective communication and support
Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical repair are preferred
Previous experience within the outdoor power equipment or automotive industry is an advantage
