Role Overview:
Supporting Foster Carers and Children
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting foster carers and children in Northamptonshire.
* Main Responsibilities:
* You will supervise a caseload of foster carers, providing essential support and guidance to ensure the well-being of children.
* You will manage the Duty system, ensuring that children are placed with suitable foster carers who can meet their needs.
* You will undertake assessments to understand the needs of children and their families, providing tailored support to help them thrive.
* You will visit children and their families regularly to offer support and guidance, building strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Requirements:
* A degree or equivalent in social work is required for this role.
* Current Social Work England registration is necessary for this position.
* Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker is highly desirable.
