About the Role
As a Claims Management Advisor - WorkCover, you will take ownership of the end-to-end administration of workers' compensation payments and claims processes. You'll ensure injured employees are supported with accurate entitlements, while maintaining compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
Working closely with Payroll, Finance, and Injury Management teams, you will act as a key link between multiple stakeholders-bringing clarity, precision, and professionalism to a complex and essential function.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate WorkCover payments, reimbursements, and claim-related financial transactions with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness
* Provide precise data inputs for payroll processing, ensuring injured employees receive correct entitlements and adjustments
* Interpret and reconcile data across multiple systems including rosters, payroll, timesheets, and insurer documentation
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including insurers, to ensure compliance and resolve complex queries
* Support and advise managers and employees on WorkCover processes, entitlements, and requirements
* Maintain accurate and auditable records within claims systems, ensuring all documentation is up to date
* Contribute to process improvements and documentation, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the function
What You Bring
* Experience in claims management, payroll, finance, or workers' compensation environments
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume, complex data accurately
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise under pressure and meet deadlines
* Confident stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate clearly across all levels
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
* High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
