Job Overview
This is a permanent full-time opportunity to work as a Dam Manager at the Ross Dam. The role involves implementing land management plans, operating the dam and associated infrastructure, and working in a team of two or more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the day-to-day implementation of land management plans within the Lake Ross Storage Area.
* Operating within the Ross River Dam and Paluma Dam Emergency Action Plans as directed.
* Maintaining vegetation, weeds, and feral animals within the catchment area.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Problem-solving skills.
* Demonstrated experience in safe work behaviour.
* Very good team skills are required in this role, working in a team of two or more and independently.
* Experience in working outdoors.
* Identification of native and weed species within the catchment area.
