About the OpportunityWe are seeking an Engineering Lead (Electrical / Mechanical) to join our Strategic Surveillance business unit based at Edinburgh Parks, SA.
The successful candidate will report to the Power Systems Delivery Stream Manager, leading and managing the power systems engineering activities and acting as the technical point of contact with the customer.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical project strategy planning, evaluation, and executionServe as the technical contact with the customer, maintaining strong stakeholder relationshipsProvide guidance and technical advice to the engineering teamEnsure technical solutions align with customer commitmentsPromote best practices, efficiency, and continuous improvement in power systems engineeringAssist in project bids and manage engineering aspects of proposalsAbout YouExtensive experience in Electrical engineering or a relevant disciplineDegree in engineering with the ability to obtain chartered statusEffective engagement with customers and stakeholdersAbility to investigate and resolve technical issues independently and collaborativelyLeadership experience in technical or people managementEligible for defence security clearance or ability to obtain itWe encourage candidates who meet most but not all criteria to apply, as we value potential and growth.
