Procurement Manager Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Procurement Manager, where you will play a key role in driving operational excellence by managing the procurement of non-inventory goods and services across our network.
The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the complete procurement lifecycle for non-inventory goods and services required by the network, including forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, and vendor relationship management.
* Establish and monitor key performance indicators for supplier management and procurement efficiency, and produce regular reports to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Operations, and leadership to meet operational goals.
* Build and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers to ensure compliance with standards, secure favorable terms, and foster procurement innovations.
* Resolve procurement-related issues, including inventory discrepancies, delivery challenges, and payments to suppliers.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, engineering, IT, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
* At least 1 year of experience using MS Office, especially Excel and analytics platforms, with skills in data analysis using pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
* Understanding process flow and ability to suggest improvements to achieve savings, inventory reduction, or other benefits.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Supply Chain Management Certifications.
* Experience working in a warehouse environment.
