Overview
Managing Pain is a leading multidisciplinary pain medicine practice located in Robina, Queensland. Our team includes 3 Specialist Pain Medicine Physicians (FFPMANZCA). We work together to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care for people living with persistent pain.
The Role
We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our collaborative team, who is also passionate about delivering patient-centred care. The role offers approximately 30 hours per week of employment with the opportunity to increase to full-time. It combines onsite work at our rooms at 8/18 Campus Crescent, Robina, and remote work from home.
As part of our service, you will:
* Contribute to the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients with chronic pain
* Provide pain education and peri-operative education
* Assist with peri-operative acute pain management
* Facilitate and participate in small group pain management programs
Support for Scope Expansion into Pain Medicine
We welcome applications from Nurse Practitioners who wish to expand their scope of practice into the field of Pain Medicine. Comprehensive clinical and theoretical support will be provided to ensure safe and confident transition into this specialty.
Formal support will include:
* The ANZCA Better Pain Management course
* The University of Sydney Professional Certificate in the Psychology of Pain
* Access to expert clinical mentorship and supervision
* Ongoing professional development opportunities
About You
You are an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner
* Holds current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board
* A genuine interest in Pain Medicine and multidisciplinary care
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Demonstrates a passion for improving patient outcomes and quality of life
Pay & Conditions
* ~$100 per hour (negotiable, commensurate with experience)
* ~30 hours per week with potential to increase to full time
