Project Controls Lead Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to join our program based in Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia.
This role will oversee the effective use of Earned Value Management (EVM) Systems to enable accurate monitoring and reporting of project cost, schedule progress, and risk status.
The successful candidate will maintain excellent relationships with customers and management by ensuring timely, accurate EVM data is provided.
1. Lead the activities of the Project Controls team to establish initial cost and schedule baselines.
2. Provide expert assistance in the use of cost and schedule tools to manage the project team's use of scheduling tools.
3. Manage the month-end EVM process of Cost Account status reporting, accruals, schedule status, and forecasting, estimate to complete data input, provision of progress and variance analysis reports.
4. Assist the project team in performance management using variance analysis and corrective action planning processes.
5. Provide customer-required and management-level EVM data and associated reports.
6. Presentation of EVM data at Customer progress meetings.
7. Functional responsibility for the performance, career development, and mentoring of direct reports.

About You:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management or equivalent is desirable.
* Proven performance at a similar level or demonstrated prior experience and progression as a Senior Project Controller.
* Demonstrated schedule and cost experience is essential.
* Ability to balance conflicting priorities to deliver against customer and business requirements, with appropriate stakeholder management.
* Ability to use and adapt written and verbal communication skills to suit a variety of different audiences is critical to this role.
* Intermediate MS Office skills, especially in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
* A current NV1 defence security clearance.
