CommBank's Financial Crime Operations (FCO) Strategy and Performance (S&P) team is looking for a Communications Manager to join our FCO Change, Capability, Communications and Culture portfolio, to support execution of the Financial Crime Services (FCS) internal communication strategy.
Financial Crime Operations (FCO) is a team of 2000+ Operations Professionals and leads the Group's approach to managing Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) and Sanctions risks and obligations through the provision of operational services across the Customer Lifecycle. This includes Onboarding and KYC, Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD), Ongoing Due Diligence including Transaction Monitoring (TM), Customer and Payment Screening and periodic KYC Refresh.
The Strategy & Performance function is an enablement function supporting Financial Crime Operations to meet the performance and quality objectives set by the Group. S&P work in partnership with the FCO operational teams to set the strategic direction, define performance targets and operating model as well as provide core enablement functions including; governance, workforce optimisation, performance insights, strategic initiatives, change management, capability, communications, etc.
Do work that matters
This Communications Manager will flow to work across the FCS team. With strong cross-functional interaction and high visibility, you will support thee execution of the internal communications strategy and serve as key content creator.
In this capacity, you will support the Senior Communications Manager You will play a pivotal role in executing internal communication plans and driving proactive engagement within the team as well as supporting strategic people & change initiatives.
On any given day, you will:
* Create and deliver communication strategies across FCS and FCO.
* Work closely with the Senior Communications Manager to oversee and manage communications and engagement activity such as change communications, leader notes etc.
* Help shape and execute a strategic Communications calendar and organise and manage events accordingly.
* Provide support and guidance to Leaders to translate business priorities into effective communication strategies.
* Integrate measurement and evaluation into communications plans. Develop insights and outcomes each month to improve communication tactics and performance.
* Drive creative communication initiatives, rally stakeholders around new ideas, and execute strategies swiftly.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
* Significant experience in an internal focused communications role within a listed company, issues-rich and highly regulated environment, managing business communication strategy and implementation.
* Experience in supporting complex, large scale operations and/or financial crime teams ( desirable ).
* Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator and video editing software.
* Change management and employee engagement experience (desirable) .
* A track record in developing, implementing, and measuring integrated and coordinated communication strategies.
* Exceptional writing skills and ability to simplify complex messages.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills and an ability to work with multiple teams and functions to deliver strong outcomes.
* Strong issue management experience.
