Your adventurous career: We’re after a passionate graduate or early-career ecologist - someone who lights up when talking plant ID, can find beauty in a swamp, and doesn’t mind the occasional leech. You’ll be on the ground (literally), learning the ropes from some of the sharpest minds in the industry while getting hands-on experience across a range of dynamic projects. At Scout, you’ll work across your project from start to finish - from field to final report. That means getting out there into rainforests, desert, wetlands, grasslands - wherever biodiversity calls. When you're not in the field, you’re in our sunny Newcastle HQ, just a stone’s throw from the beach. You’ll use 3D mapping, drones and the latest tech to measure and map biodiversity and help our clients unlock landscapes. We’re transparent, real, and outcome-driven - quality is everything.
