Job Overview
A full-time position is available for a senior vendor manager to provide strategic oversight of commercial and contractual functions across major projects.
Responsibilities
 * Provide strategic oversight of commercial and contractual functions across major projects.
 * Drive strategies to improve profitability, cost control, and value creation across diverse projects.
 * Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to commercial and project teams.
 * Ensure the successful execution of vendor contracts to support the program by facilitating procurement activity.
 * Collaborate with team members and capability owners to structure rfxs, supporting materials, and statements of work.
 * Ensure contracts between vendors and clients are fulfilled to set standards; manage and maintain commercial relationships.
 * Deliver contracts in alignment with client procurement processes and mediate issues or changes as raised by either party.
 * Monitor and manage contract delivery performance against contractual deliverables and kpis.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
 * Extensive commercial and vendor management experience in large-scale critical infrastructure or renewables projects.
 * Lead and manage end-to-end commercial and contract functions including procurement, risk management, claims, and dispute resolution.
 * Proven ability to lead negotiations and achieve positive outcomes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
 * Proficient in vendor management/procurement; commercial/finance acumen or accreditation is essential.
 * Experience delivering programs/projects within information technology.
 * Experience in the energy/utilities industry is highly regarded.
