Cafe Lewi' is seeking a talented Casual Chef and Pastry Chef to join our team in Lewisham, NSW 2049. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant, fast-paced cafe environment and contribute your culinary expertise to creating delicious meals and desserts for our customers.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold dishes to Cafe Lewi' standards
* Crafting high-quality pastries, cakes and other sweet treats
* Maintaining exceptional standards of food preparation, presentation and hygiene
* Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service
* Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive team environment
What we're looking for
* Relevant experience as a Chef or Pastry Chef, ideally in a cafe or restaurant setting
* Strong technical cooking and baking skills, with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
* A creative flair and passion for developing delicious, visually appealing dishes and desserts
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
* A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
