Accounts Payable Officer - 4 Week Contract (Immediate Start)

FourQuarters are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our client's finance team for a short-term assignment. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately process supplier invoices within set timeframes
* Prepare and execute weekly EFT payment runs
* Assist with month-end accruals, reconciliations, and rollover tasks
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly
* Manage petty cash processing and reconciliations
* Oversee the accounts inbox and respond to creditor queries efficiently
* Coordinate remittance distribution, cheque handling, and mail-outs
About You:
* TAFE qualification in Bookkeeping, or equivalent studies in Finance or Accounting
* Minimum 2 years' recent experience managing end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, including month-end processes
* Proven administrative skills
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
* Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving issues efficiently
