Job Summary:
Ventia is seeking a skilled Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems on rigs. The role involves planning work based on scheduled orders, collaborating with teams to ensure smooth operations, and roaming between sites to provide expert maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
* Identify and repair electrical faults in heavy industrial environments
* Collaborate with the Electrical Superintendent and Maintenance Manager to optimize workflows
* Plan and execute work based on scheduled orders and prioritized tasks
* Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards
* Develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems
* Provide training and support to junior staff members
Requirements:
* Trade-qualified Electrician with experience in oil and gas industry
* Strong knowledge of SCADA and PLC systems, plus related software
* Post-trade electrical experience in heavy industrial environments
* Skilled at fault-finding and troubleshooting under pressure
* Valid Open Manual Driver's Licence (or higher)
