About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated full‑time Systems Engineer to join our team in Albury, focusing on the verification, validation, and integration of complex engineering systems for a major program.
This position is pivotal in managing and executing V&V testing and evaluating complex OEM products against requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of our cutting‑edge technological solutions.
Your duties will involve a blend of engineering, management, and technical documentation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute and manage Verification & Validation (V&V) activities and required contractual artefacts according to project schedules and the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).
* Manage and execute V&V testing for complex engineering systems. This includes developing and implementing detailed test plans and procedures, conducting testing, managing support staff, and completing formal reports, and preparing test articles.
* Conduct design reviews and configuration audits.
* Manage design changes and configuration control processes.
* Track and report on the status of compliance against the specified requirements.
* Collaborate with teams to ensure the seamless integration of military hardware, advanced robotic systems, and third‑party components.
* Produce accurate, current, and relevant technical documentation and information artifacts.
* Manage the authoring, review, and publication of technical documentation (e.g., User Manuals, Technical Manuals, Handbooks) across various media and platforms.
* Contribute to policy and guideline development for both software development and technical communication.
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
About You
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical field such as Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics or equivalent discipline.
* Proven experience in managing and executing Verification & Validation (V&V) testing of complex engineering systems.
* Experience with configuration control and design change management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make informed decisions about information presentation and to moderate/edit content from others.
* Demonstrated ability in project planning and delivery, including managing schedules and artifacts to project timelines.
* Professional, self‑motivated, and capable of working effectively both autonomously and in a team environment.
