About the Role
As a Housekeeping Services Assistant (Laundry),you'll be part of a dedicated team helping to create a clean,safe, and welcoming home for older South Australians living in ouraged care homes. Your attention to detail and care will directlysupport the comfort, dignity, and well-being of our residents,helping make their home feel truly like home.
You'll work alongside hospitality, clinical, and personalcare teams to deliver high standards of hygiene using modern,efficient systems. Whether you're caring for residents'garments, preparing fresh linens, or ensuring infection controlprotocols are always followed, your work will be valued andappreciated every day.
What You'll Be Doing
* Start your day with a team briefing and connect with supportive colleagues
* Sort, wash, dry, fold, and label residents' clothingand bed linen
* Keep laundry areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times
* Follow infection prevention and control procedures in alllaundry routines
* Use commercial laundry equipment and safe chemical handlingpractices
* Monitor stock levels and report equipment issues to yoursupervisor
* Support the overall housekeeping team when required
* Respect residents' privacy, belongings, andpreferences
* Contribute to a warm, homely, and dignified environment forresidents

What You'll Bring
