About the Role
We're seeking dedicated disability support workers to join our supportive team in Normanhurst. In this role, you'll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans.
* Assist with daily personal care tasks such as toileting, showering and dressing.
* Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans.
* Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport.
* Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records.
* Work collaboratively within a close‐kitted team.
* Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines.
Who We're Looking For
* Willing to work active night and sleepover shifts, weekends and public holidays.
* Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles.
* Energetic, compassionate and emotionally resilient.
* Experienced in disability support (preferred).
* Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable).
Requirements
* NSW Driver's Licence (P2/Full).
* First Aid Certificate.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Working With Children Check (if required for the role).

Week 2: Monday 2:00 PM – 6:00 AM (sleepover) 5 Currawong Ave – 8 hrs. Tuesday RDO. Wednesday 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM, 46 Charles Street – 4 hrs. Wednesday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (sleepover) 46 Charles Street – 8 hrs. Thursday RDO. Friday RDO. Saturday RDO. Sunday 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM – 5 Currawong Ave – 4 hrs. Total Hours: 23.5 hrs.
