Saggers Group operates across Wastewater, Civil, Plumbing and Liquid Waste throughout Western Australia.
Our Liquid Waste Division delivers commercial and residential liquid waste removal, septic pump-outs and wastewater services across Western Australia and is an established multi-million-dollar operation with infrastructure in place for structured expansion.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of performance, people and profit as we scale the division.
This is a leadership role with genuine operational authority.
About the RoleYou will lead and manage the Liquid Waste division, overseeing day-to-day operations while driving efficiency, protecting margins and enabling scalable growth.
Reporting directly to Group Directors through structured weekly review meetings, you will operate with autonomy within agreed performance parameters.
This role will suit an experienced operator from a larger organisation seeking the opportunity to run and grow a division with clear expansion capacity.
Key Responsibilities
* Full operational control of the Liquid Waste division
* Leadership of drivers and field teams
* Fleet utilisation and route efficiency
* Margin protection and cost discipline
* Compliance and safety standards
* System implementation and operational structure
* Structured expansion of fleet capacity where commercially viable
* Client engagement and support of growth initiatives
* Management of after-hours operational matters as required
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years in operational leadership (transport, waste, civil, or similar)
* Experience managing operations with a strong understanding of margin drivers
* Proven leadership of field-based teams
* Commercial thinker — not just an organiser
* High standards and strong accountability mindset
* Current HR licence and willingness to step into operational gaps when required
* Liquid waste experience is advantageous.
* Operational leadership and commercial acumen are essential.
