Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing various quantity surveying functions including estimating, planning and cost management, cost monitoring, and accurate and timely financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception, through to completion and post-project review.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with clients, architects and main contractors
* Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
* Master-plan and feasibility budgets
* Cost checking of developing design
* Tender evaluations and analysis
* Cash flow projects
* Procurement
* Cost reporting
* Evaluation of variations
* Valuations
* Final account reporting
* Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management
* Full Australian working rights and currently located in Australia
* RICS / AIQS accreditation highly regarded
* Proficient in the use of Cost X
