Responsibilities
Assist in providing care to residents and patients across Yorke and Northern Local Health Network sites. Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence management. Help with feeding, maintain mobility through transferring and lifting (including mechanical aids). Undertake bed-making, cleaning of equipment and work area, and distribute clean laundry. Contribute to resident assessment, record observations, identify diversional therapy needs, and complete routine documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
* Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
* Appointment subject to satisfactory Criminal History Check.
* Acknowledgement of appropriate immunisation requirements.
* Pre‐appointment checks: DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Check, National Police Certificate, Immunisation classification Category A.
