Position Overview
Mornington Island State School is a vibrant Indigenous community located in Gununa, on Mornington Island in Queensland's Wellesley Islands. The school serves around 260 students in a culturally rich environment with core values of Courage, Choice and Challenge.
The school focuses on improving literacy, attendance and engagement through culturally informed teaching and strong community partnerships. Programs include Special Education, multi-age classroom learning and regular cultural experiences.

* Inclusion - Kindergarten to Year 10 (Temporary)
* Flexispace - Kindergarten to Year 10 (Temporary)
Additionally, we have permanent positions available in Primary education for Kindergarten, Prep, Year 3-4 and Year 5/6. We also have a position available for English/Humanities in Year 7-8.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Relevant teaching qualification
* Full or provisional QCT registration
* Australian working rights or valid visa
