Your new role
As a Senior Worker you will provide supervision and support to the Private Rental Assistance Program (PRAP) team. PRAP is a preventative intervention service that provides holistic support to households experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The program aims to provide support and practical assistance tailored to the needs of individual households.
You will work in partnership with the Team Leader to provide effective leadership support to a committed team of PRAP Workers and PRAP Plus Workers. The role will provide information, advocacy and support to enable clients to access and maintain private rental tenancy opportunities. The Senior Worker will build strong relationships within the real estate industry to leverage opportunities, and establish links and referral pathways to relevant community support services.

Your skills and experience
You Will Bring
* Diploma in Community Services, Welfare or related disciplines
* Experience in working in the housing and/homelessness sector
* Understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act
* A willingness to be proactive, help others, and contribute to the continuous improvement of a positive, collaborative and effective work environment
* Valid and current Driver's License
