About the role:
Working closely with some of the most highly regarded partners in the planning and environment space, you will advise on:
* Planning approvals and land use strategy.
* Environmental compliance and regulation.
* Compulsory acquisitions and land compensation.
* Major infrastructure and urban development projects.
* Litigation and dispute resolution before the Land and Environment Court.
You'll be exposed to significant and high-impact matters, from large‐scale infrastructure and urban renewal to complex advisory and contentious matters for both private and public sector clients.
The ideal candidate:
* 3–4 years PQE in planning, environment, or local government law.
* Knowledge of NSW planning laws desirable.
* Strong technical legal skills and drafting ability.
* Excellent communication and client management skill.
* A collaborative approach and eagerness to work in a high‐performing, close‐knit team.
