YOUR ROLE
Monday to Friday, 7.30 am start – permanent full-time.
Base hourly rate of $38.20 + 14.5% super.
Role offered under the CEVA Logistics & Transport Workers Union National EA.
Based onsite at one of our customer depots, you'll take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations as the sole CEVA representative supporting our national telecommunications customer. Reporting to a remote manager, you'll be trusted to manage all general warehousing activities while maintaining robust relationships with onsite stakeholders.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys working autonomously, takes pride in maintaining a safe and organised warehouse, and can confidently engage with customers to deliver high‐quality service.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Specifically, you will:
- Manage receival, put‐away, picking and dispatch activities in line with customer procedures.
- Load, unload, move and stage goods using a forklift and manual handling techniques.
- Prepare freight for dispatch including labelling, weighing and cubing.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete all required documentation.
- Keep the warehouse and equipment clean, organised and compliant with safety standards.
- Perform basic equipment checks and minor maintenance as required.
- Engage with onsite customer staff to support their operational needs.
- Provide updates and reporting to your manager, ensuring smooth remote oversight.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Proven experience in general warehousing operations (receival, picking, dispatch).
- A current LF forklift licence and proven experience.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Good communication skills and confidence engaging with customers onsite.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or warehouse systems.
- Physical capability for manual handling tasks.
