Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Engineering and Reliability team.
Manage maintenance activities, contractors and labour hire resources to maximise site performance and minimise downtime.
Drive reliability, asset performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Deliver the site’s Reliability Maturity Strategy and 3‑Year Master Plan.
Manage engineering budgets, maintenance costs and critical spare parts.
Lead the delivery of site capital projects.
Partner with Operations, Quality and Safety teams to improve productivity, safety and quality outcomes.
Ensure compliance with company, safety and legislative requirements.
About You You are a proven people leader with strong engineering and maintenance experience gained within FMCG, food manufacturing or another complex manufacturing environment.
You’ll Bring
Strong leadership experience within Engineering, Maintenance or Reliability.
Experience managing contractors, labour hire and cross‑functional stakeholders.
A practical, hands‑on approach and willingness to be visible on the floor.
Strong problem‑solving skills and a solutions‑focused mindset. RCA experience using 5 Whys/Fishbone will be highly regarded.
Experience in managing maintenance operations utilising computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Comprehensive understanding of maintenance planning, including budget control.
Electrical trade or engineering qualifications or equivalent professional experience in the field of engineering is essential.
