Athletic Strategy Consultant

Our platform connects tutors to students, aiming to achieve admission and scholarships to top universities or their dream career pathways.
We are growing our International Athletics team and seeking sport-specific Athletic Strategy Consultants who have a passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting the next generation of collegiate student-athletes.
This role will be a contract or part-time position to begin with and can be fully remote. The work hours and number of clients can be determined by your schedule. There is potential for this role to grow into a full-time position in the future.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop close mentoring relationships with student-athletes within your sport.
* Consistently meet with each student-athlete via video chat, with an expected meeting cadence of every 2-4 weeks during active recruitment months and every 3-6 weeks in their earlier years.
* Maintain regular communication with student-athletes via our tech platform and email.
* Hold student-athletes accountable for organizational and developmental tools such as training logs and competition reflections.
* Evaluate film to provide student-athletes with feedback and instruction, as well as suggestions for organizing their recruitment video.
* Research and discuss the best camps, showcases, and opportunities for student-athletes to attend, increasing their exposure to relevant college coaches.
* Help student-athletes maximize their talent using your knowledge and resources to further develop them as athletes.
* Work with student-athletes to develop a clear, personalized, and intentional plan for their recruitment, providing realistic expectations.
* Support student-athletes in navigating and staying proactive throughout their recruiting journey.
* Advocate for student-athletes with college coaches when necessary.
* Update parents on the progress of student-athletes when relevant.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience playing or coaching at a top US-based university.
* A passion for mentoring teenagers.
* A detailed understanding of the recruiting process.
* Exceptional emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
* Strong strategic planning and communication skills.
* Excellent verbal communication.
